October is Attendance Awareness Month
Your students miss out on learning when they are absent, and we miss them when they are not at school.  Be a supporter of school attendance. Check your student’s attendance on PARENT PORTAL. FIVE or more UAB (unexcused absences) or a total of 10 absences may result in an attendance referral to the Attendance Officer. Be aware of school attendance rules and regulations. Square One Art
This month our students will create a Piney Branch Cardinal drawing in Ms. Shaw's class for our Square 1 Art Fundraiser. If you would like to submit additional drawings, extra sheets can be picked up in the office. Parents, students and siblings are welcome to participate in the fundraiser. Please submit your masterpiece to the office or Mrs. Shaw no later than Thursday, October 2nd. All drawings submitted will receive 20 free stickers of their creation along with a custom catalog with your artwork displayed on the front. Orders will arrive before Christmas. The T. Clay Wood PTO is thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for the 2nd Annual Harvest Howl 5K Run/Walk and Wolf Pup Fun Run on Saturday, October 18th!
